What you'll do :

As a Loan Operations Team Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating, processing and may work on loans in various stages across the Loan Operations processes for an array of Bank products with a variety of structures, collateral, rates, and terms across the organization, ensuring quality, completeness and accuracy.

You will supervise a small group of Loan Operations Administrators to ensure that production and service level standards are achieved, work is completed accurately and on schedule, and that regulatory compliance, risk management, and audit standards are met.

Essential Job Duties

Responsible for supporting the Loan Operations Manager in the oversight of a small team of Loan Operations Administrators.

Ensures the Loan Operations Administrators are performing their activities in compliance with bank policies and procedures, and that documentation is accurate and properly maintained.

What we are looking for :

Oversees the daily workflow, work direction, and accurate processing of loan packages in various stages and that the daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Ensures established deadlines are being met, maintaining accuracy, and identifying and expediting work assignments as needed.

Communicates the daily workflow and escalates issues of quality and productivity concerns to Loan Operations Manager.

Assists the Loan Operations Administration team by providing mentoring, training and development.

Analyzes, researches, and resolves escalated issues.

Ensures clarity and direction, and exhibits the necessary follow through with customers and / or staff involved.

Leads and develops a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent and eight (8) years of direct related experience such as Loan Administration, Lending and / or deposit Sales or other related financial institution experience

Intermediate to advanced Knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and / or other commercial banking products and services.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of a variety of complex loan types

Proficient in multitasking in a team-oriented environment and focused on the highest standards of client service.

Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences.

Previous leadership experience preferred.
