POSITION VISION :
This position is responsible for managing, developing, and delivering the Central Girls 11U-14U Competitive program and Assisting with the Tier III Elite program.
The role is pivotal to furthering the development of our youth club talent as we work to provide a complete pathway for our female players and members from grassroots to college and beyond.
This position operates in a competitive environment built on player development and club-wide consistency.

JOB FUNCTIONS : Architect
Architect
- Utilize the CRYSC belief system (Player Development Plan, Game Model, and Methodology) to guide the development of female players in the Rapids Player Pathway;
- Develop a strategic approach to maximizing the club resources to elevate the Central Girls program to new competitive levels;
- Support the utilization of the club belief system to evaluate players, coaches, and ancillary staff continually;
- Support and implement the Player Development Plan (PDP) and coordinate with the Region Technical Director (RTD) for any unique needs of the Central Girls 11U-14U program and Tier III players;
- Lead and support the implementation of a player recruitment plan;
- Collaborate with the Central RTD with player recommendations (11U-12U) for the Elite Training Centers (ETC’s) and the ECRL South & North Staff and ECNL staff on player movements (13U+) across the player pathway;
- Assist in the development and implementation of any education sessions as presented by the Rapids staff;
- Serve as a key leader in creating a collaborative culture within the Central Region and staff coaches that results in player-centered environments.
Align
- Collaborate with all Central region staff to coordinate the allocation of resources, facilities, and fields in the implementation of the Girls 11U-14U Program;
- Support the Tier III Programming with player placement, coaching education, etc;
- Support and collaborate with all Rapids programs and Directors across all regions to ensure a connection in the belief system, player development, player placement, and player pathway;
- Support the implementation of the Individual Player Development (IDP) Plans with measurements of success for players and coaches in the Central 11U-14U Girls program;
- Support the implementation of holistic club philosophy, curriculum, and methodology understanding;
- Support the implementation of parent engagement and player education sessions for the Central 11U-14U Girls program;
- Support the development of Central Girls program coaches by implementing the club’s coach evaluation process, including IDPs, written assessments, reflection interviews, feedback, specific recommendations for further development, and follow-up;
- Support the development of a yearly planning calendar that includes in-season and off-season training, games schedules, showcase events, tryouts / kickarounds, camps, and any other special programming;
- Work closely with the Central Competitive Administrator to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of 11U-14U Girls programs;
- Work closely with the College Placement Program Director to assist with the college entrance, recruitment, and scholarship process;
- Collaborate with the Central 8U-10U Director and Central 11U-14U Boys Director to create consistency, where applicable, across the programs.
- Support all staff in creating player-centered environments;
- With the support of RTD, identify, hire, develop, and manage the Central 11U-14U girls coaching staff;
- Develop a yearly workflow calendar of communication for parents, coaches, and players;
- Forge positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to benefit the Central 11U-14U Girls;
- Champion all club policies by ensuring best practices in areas such as safeguarding player health and safety;
- Work autonomously to an agreed level and in the best interests of the Central Girls program and the Club;
- Be visible to all internal and external stakeholders and support key staff when liaising with parents at critical moments;
- Live the club values and champion the culture to help deliver Central strategic plans and the vision of the Region and the Club;
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE
- Strong communication, organization, and administrative skills
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working with youth athletes across multiple ages and stages of development
- USSF B License or Equivalent Industry Qualification
- Experience in working in a multi-disciplinary team working to support player development
- Proficient and detailed in the planning, organization, and follow-through of projects and events
- Identifies and responds to the needs of the players by adapting their coaching practice accordingly
- Builds positive relationships with the players, staff, and all stakeholders
- Competent with modern technologies that support the performance of their duties
- Aligns with the Playing and Coaching Philosophy and Methodology in the Central Region
