Job Summary
The RV Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and service of recreational vehicles (RVs).
This role involves diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that all RVs meet safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

- Compensation : $25 - $40 / hour
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on RVs, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and tests to ensure RVs are in good working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with RV components such as engines, generators, brakes, and appliances.
- Install and repair RV accessories and equipment.
- Provide detailed and accurate service reports and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide updates and recommendations.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as an RV Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Certification from the RVIA / RVDA or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with a variety of RV brands and models.
- Basic computer skills for service documentation and reporting.
