Job Overview :
As the Head of Sales at DoorLoop, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable, consistent, and predictable revenue growth for the company.
You will lead and evolve the sales engine, launch outbound sales motions, and guide the sales organization through the next phases of DoorLoop's growth.
Your leadership will contribute directly to achieving ambitious revenue targets, enhancing sales processes, and fostering a winning and positive sales culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the sales team in doubling our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in 2024.
- Take ownership of key sales performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, average sales cycle length, and Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).
- Ensure continuous improvement in unit economics through effective pipeline management, optimized resource allocation, and increased efficiency.
- Become an expert in DoorLoop's conversion and revenue funnel, evaluating existing performance and recommending opportunities for improvement.
- Equip the sales team with the necessary processes, training, and tools for success.
- Research, test, iterate, and report on opportunities to enhance the sales engine, measured by ARR growth and unit economics improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness through coaching, training, and mentoring of individual contributors and managers.
- Develop an end-to-end process for efficient and effective cold outreach to target prospects and past leads / opportunities.
- Constantly evaluate the success of the outbound sales program and lead data-informed iterative changes.
- Build a winning culture characterized by engagement, positivity, and enthusiasm.
- Determine the appropriate organizational structure to support DoorLoop's growth goals, implementing changes without compromising productivity or morale.
- Ensure the implementation of best-in-class hiring, onboarding, retention, and performance management processes.
Qualifications :
- 7+ years of total work experience, including at least 3 years in a high-growth SaaS start-up.
- 5+ years of experience in sales, including 3+ years in a sales leadership role.
- Experience as both Account Executive (or equivalent) and sales manager, plus experience working on sales operations, enablement, and strategy projects.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets as both IC and manager.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on creating both a positive and high-performance sales culture.
- Experience collaborating effectively with stakeholders across the organization, with an emphasis on marketing, product, finance, operations, and customer success.
- Experience in developing and implementing successful outbound sales motions.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, including a bias towards data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills at both the executive and team levels.
