HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Urgent Care Imaging Tech to fill an opening with a well-known hospital in Miami, FL.

Compensation : $33+ - $43+ / hr (depending on experience and tenure)
Up to $15K Sign on Bonus!!! (varies by department)
Shift : 7 pm 5 : 30 am
Daily Responsibilities for the Urgent Care Ultrasound Tech :
- Conducts radiographic and CT examinations across all age groups in Urgent Care, Express Care, and outpatient settings, ensuring quality and adherence to radiation protection standards.
- Integral team member optimizing patient flow and satisfaction through efficient workflow support and quick registration processes.
- Actively participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including audits and documentation to uphold standards of care.
- Supports regulatory compliance and safety protocols, including National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Precautions, and HIPAA policies.
- Performs additional clinical tasks as needed within scope of practice, such as phlebotomy, EKG, and vital sign assessments, contributing to comprehensive patient care.
Minimum Education / Licensures / Qualifications :
- Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R)).
- Graduate of an AMA Council on Education approved program for Radiologic Technologists.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
- Preferred : 6 months of experience in acute care settings.
