Salary : $60k
Schedule : On-site; 8am - 5pm
Location : Mesa, AZ
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- SHRM Certification preferred.
- Bilingual; possess effective verbal and written language skills in English and Spanish required.
Experience :
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources or Management experience, required.
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrate leadership and training skills to support employees.
- Demonstrate excellent customer relations abilities when working with internal employees and external clients.
- Demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational ability; ability to work under pressure amid distractions and interruptions, while adhering to daily / weekly / monthly deadlines.
- Office of Refugee Resettlement experience preferred
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsibilities will include but not limited to :
- Implement human resources programs and processes, including performance assessments, compensation, recruitment, training & development, retention, AA / EEO compliance, HRIS data management, and labor relations.
- Proactively identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience.
- Develop human resources solutions by identifyingchallenges, and collecting and analyzing information.
- Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conduct research; develop and organize information; fulfill goals.
- Work with team, employees, and managers in a courteous, professional manner. Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality.
- Problem-solve issues as they arise utilizing HR best practices and Agency policy and discern matters that need to be escalated to ER Manager or Director.
- Track and maintain team documents, files, templates, materials, and metrics in shared team drives.
- Manage sensitive and confidential data such as HR records and personnel files.
- Respond to employee inquiries regardingpolicy, PTO, FMLA, and general employee personnel issues.
Compliance / Requirements :
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Pass various background checks
- Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation
- Current Auto Liability Insurance
- 39-Month Motor Vehicle Record
- Must be able to provide proof of immunizations(Varicella, MMR, and Tdap)
