Help Wanted : Electrical Engineer- Double E, Must be NETA Certified
Salary : $83,000 per year
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RSLogix and / or Step7 for the purpose of troubleshooting and repairing complex systems and equipment.
While direct programming skills are not a necessity, proficiency in programming is considered a beneficial asset.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize RSLogix and Step7 to troubleshoot and repair systems and equipment. - Experience with HMI programming and the ability to effectively use these systems for troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and repair a variety of components, including sensors, transmitters, industrial electric control systems, motors, and drives.
- Collaborate with team members, share information, and actively participate in group problem-solving. - Maintain a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety, speaking up about any potential hazards and asking for assistance when needed.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn and look up information to resolve challenges independently. - Take initiative to repair any issues encountered, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic quality.
- Contribute to job site cleanup and documentation processes, providing insights into the cause of failure, actions taken, and potential preventative measures.
Qualifications :
- Practical experience with Studio 5000, Siemens Simatic S-7, HMI, VFD programming, and acceptance testing is a plus. - Strong troubleshooting skills in an industrial setting are required.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively. - Positive attitude and a drive for continuous improvement and sharing knowledge.
- Industrial electrician / technician experience preferred. - Physical ability to climb ladders, wear an arc flash suit, and perform manual labor as needed.
