We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator that will be involved in almost all aspects of the operation of the facility. This position will be responsible for building maintenance, space planning, coordinating vendor activity, and more.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Participation in construction projects, facilities planning, maintenance planning and new equipment installations of varying magnitudes
- Management of routine maintenance of building systems (HVAC, compressed air, humidification, electrical distribution, building fire and life safety systems, and other support systems as needed)
- Corporate space planning to update seating and capacity models
- Routinely interface with, manage and coordinate the activities of vendors such as security, mechanical, electrical, and janitorial
- Manage the safety and environmental program for the site. This will include administration of permits, shipping of waste streams, and being the safety and environmental resource for the site as needed
- Issue purchase orders for site services and approve invoicing.
- Work closely with lab groups and site leaders to keep abreast of future developments requiring facilities support
