Position Summary :
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling Fulton Systems Inc products to pulp and paper mills.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish strong relationships with clients, understand their unique needs, evaluate their existing systems, and recommend tailored solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with production engineers, mill management, and other stakeholders to provide successful accurate system evaluations and solutions offerings.
We are looking for a candidate with a can do attitude, who is confident, comfortable working in a mill environment, a problem solver, and does what is needed to complete the job.
This position will require travel to the mills to conduct steam and condensate system audits, collect detailed data, complete scope of work analysis, perform start-up services, troubleshoot system issues, and meet with clients.
You will also report to the Fulton Systems’ office to review the mill audit findings, assist with engineering a system solution, solution proposal generation, order processing, equipment expediting, customer communications, vendor communications, and other duties as may be assigned.
The estimated travel time is 12 days per month.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Associate’s degree in a STEM related discipline.
- 5+ years working in a pulp and paper mill, preferably on the dryer side.
- Prior experience in pulp and paper or technical sales.
- General knowledge, or ability to learn, of steam and condensate systems.
- Knowledge of fluid flow processes, valves, pumps, transmitters, and vessels.
- Strong attention to detail, customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and perfrom physical activities.
- Capable of standing for long periods of time and walking high level stairs.
- Eligible to work in the United States of America and have a valid driver’s license.

What will set you apart :
- You have experience in the pulp and paper industry, have worked for an engineering EPC firm, industrial construction management experience, rigging, or pipeline experience.
- You enjoy being in the field solving problems, meeting with clients, and closing industrial sales opportunities.

- You can easily communicate with the mill personnel or management to understand what they are telling you and why that is important.
