TheJob You WillPerform :
- Developand maintain a focused strategic sales plan to increase businessopportunities and achieve or exceed salestargets.
- Utilize effective territoryplanning to focus sales efforts and manage time productivelyensuring a proper call balance of Architecture & Design(A&D) and Distribution.
Travel (overnight) is expected at50% of the month.
- Coordinateactivities with Sales Director and Inside Sales Representative tomaximize sales efforts.
- Follow up onWeekly Quote Reports to maximize quotetoorderratio.
- Prospect daily to uncover newlead opportunities.
- Identify anddevelop relationships with key decisionmakers related to accountsto maximize sales opportunities and close ratios including ownersarchitects designers general contractors (GC) andsubcontractors.
- Act as an industryresource for all Shade customers for technical assistance productrecommendations specificationsetc.
- Identify and analyzecompetition both regionally and globally. Know your region thespecifics of each project and the strengths and weaknesses of allplayers involved to maximize close ratios and companyprofitability.
- Maintain efficientoffice procedures for productive use of time planning and reportsto ensure the maintenance of accurate and updated account files andfollowup procedures.
- Utilize andmaintain all sales data systems such as WSS and all availableconstruction reportingservices.
- Perform AIA CEU Lunchpresentations (minimum 6 required per year) throughout theRegion.
- Demonstrate passion anddedication every day tosucceed.
Requirements
TheQualifications Skills and Knowledge You WillBring :
- Collegedegree preferred or field equivalency. Successful sales experiencecan enhance this.
- Previous inside oroutside sales experience in a businesstobusiness environment with asuccessful background in prospecting coldcalling and businessdevelopment.
- Extensive constructionsales experience with window coverings sales experience highlypreferred.
- A track record ofsuccessful sales growth andteamwork.
- Selfstarter withaboveaverage problemsolving skills and the ability to workindependently as well as an effective and valued teammember.
- Excellent listening probingand closing skills with professional oral and written communicationabilities.
- Competence in MicrosoftOffice (word processing spreadsheets databasesemail).
- Ability to adapt quickly andpositively in response to company growth anddevelopment.
- Must reside within theregion or be willing to relocate within an agreedupontime.
