Director of Operations - Logistics

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all operational activities for the assigned region, ensuring alignment with company goals and overall objectives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to drive operational strategies that support company growth and client satisfaction.
• Work closely with the operations, account management, and sales teams to enhance customer service and resolve logistical challenges.
• Implement and optimize technology-driven solutions to meet client needs, particularly in complex operational environments.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local transportation regulations, promoting a culture of safety and legal adherence within the team.
• Manage the operations budget, including forecasting, monitoring, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure financial success.
• Identify and develop opportunities for business growth and operational improvements, contributing to the company’s long-term strategic goals.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in operations management, specifically within the transportation industry.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for building and maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
• High level of organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in operational and transportation management software (TMS).
