A growing construction company is looking for a Copywriter to assist the marketing department with implementing a new database.
This role will primarily focus on creating and updating product descriptions, database management and editing, and uploading project photos.
Responsibilities :
- Create compelling product descriptions and update existing ones, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Manage and update the database, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
- Pull project descriptions from proposals, translating technical information into engaging copy
- Upload project photos into the new database, ensuring they align with the corresponding project descriptions
- Enhance brand awareness through the creation of brochures and cutsheets
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign to create and edit documents
- Perform copy editing tasks to ensure the quality and consistency of written materials
- Assist with Database Administration and Database Management tasks
- Proactively identify and solve problems, demonstrating a high level of independence and initiative
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a copywriting and editing role
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe InDesign
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Experience in using Deltek or similar programs for project management
- Skilled in copy editing and proofreading
- Knowledge of database administration and management
- A self-starter and problem solver who can work well independently
- Familiarity with Content Management System (CMS)
- Experience in the AEC industry preferred
