Member Engagement & Event Coordinator
Organization Overview : The Oregon Auto Dealer Association is a leading organization dedicated to supporting and advocating for franchised auto dealerships across Oregon.
With a mission to promote excellence in the automotive industry, we provide resources, education, and advocacy to empower our members and drive the success of the automotive retail sector.
Position Overview : We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Member Engagement and Event Coordinator.
This role is instrumental in strengthening member relationships, facilitating collaboration, and delivering high-quality events and programs that contribute to the growth and success of our members' businesses.
Key Responsibilities :
Member Engagement :
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance member engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Regularly communicate with members to understand their needs, address concerns, and identify opportunities for value-added services.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, providing timely and personalized assistance.
Event Planning and Execution :
- Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of events, including conferences, workshops, networking events, and educational seminars.
- Coordinate and execute all onsite aspects, member, sponsor and presenter needs.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event delivery and a positive experience for attendees.
Program Development :
- Collaborate with the executive team and committees to develop relevant and engaging programs, initiatives, and resources for members.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to inform the development of new programs and content.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and recommend enhancements or adjustments as needed.
Membership Outreach and Recruitment :
- Support membership recruitment efforts by promoting the benefits of association membership and engaging with prospective members.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective members, industry partners, and stakeholders to foster collaboration and support.
Administrative Support :
- Maintain accurate records of membership data, event registrations, and other relevant information in the association's database.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials to support the organization's initiatives and activities.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Previous experience in event planning, member relations, or customer service preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with association management systems or event management software is desirable.
