Staff Accountant Responsibilities and Qualifications :
- 2-4 years of Staff Accountant experience in restaurant industry
- ADP, Toast and Restaurant 365 experience
- Track and implement PTO and PSL
- Reconcile balance sheet, including prepaids, and accruals, prepare journal entries
- Manage multiple bank account reconciliations to guarantee financial integrity
- Reconcile accounts payable against vendor statements monthly
- Execute check runs and create schedules and analyses to support timely reporting and annual audits
- Assist and work longer hours as needed for month-end closing
- Maintain meticulous records of rental / lease occupancy schedules
- Prepare and file sales tax returns, 8027s, 571Ls, and 1099s accurately and on time
