Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, invites applications for a Temporary, One-Year Instructor Appointment (non-renewable) for 2024-2025.

Teaching responsibilities shall include a 4-4 teaching load. The position involves teaching first and / or second-year laboratory chemistry sections.
The ability to teach other courses in our curriculum would be an advantage. In addition, candidates will be required to supervise graduate student teaching assistants.
Qualifications The candidate will have a PhD in chemical sciences or related areas. Candidates for the position must clearly demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and have a record of (or clear potential for) student mentorship.
