As an Accounting Associate, you’ll be integral to our finance team, ensuring accurate and efficient management of our merchant accounts and point of sale systems.
Your expertise will help maintain financial integrity through meticulous bank reconciliations, thorough audits, and diligent management of banking and credit card documentation.
You will communicate with our venue managers when questions arise and possibly train new managers when the need arises.

What you'll do :
- Reconcile merchant accounts and credit card transactions.
- Manage and maintain point of sale (POS) systems and associated transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct and support internal audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- File and maintain banking and credit card paperwork, including secure management of login credentials.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to create and manage financial reports and data analysis.
What you'll need :
- Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax and accounting issues clearly.
- Proven experience with merchant accounts and reconciling credit card transactions.
- Hands-on experience with point of sale systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and formulas (pivot, look ups, to name a few.)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Previous experience in a similar accounting role preferred.
