Sandvik Mining & Rock Solutions is looking for a Sales Representative-Surface Drills
Key Performance Areas
Responsible for the promotion, sales, and support of Sandvik’s Surface Drilling Equipment offered to obtain maximum revenue, profitability, and market share in your assigned territory.
A key aspect of this role is building long-term customer relationships through a detailed understanding of the business of our end customers and dealers serving them.
You will assess the potential of the customer base with SMR products and perform opportunity analysis by distributor and their customer base and will be responsible for overall customer satisfaction through your assigned distributor territories.
Key Responsibilities Include
Develop sales opportunities for SMR products within the defined territory
Act as key contact for our distributors and liaise with appropriate personnelwithin the defined territory
Provide input to Business Line Managers (BLMs) to address product offering and support needs
Develop a sales plan with relevant BLMs for designated territory
Maintain accurate digital distributor and customer records
Provide as required demand forecasting and accurate product specification
Supporting the distributors and their end customers with adapting new technologies and processes from Sandvik offering
Ensure Customer follows SMR terms and conditions of sale
Liaise between Distributors and SMR to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner
Provides the Company with regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development and overall satisfaction of the Customer base
Stays current with industry developments, competitive offerings and issues affecting sales and customers
Willingness and capability to provide training when needed
EXPERIENCE
5-8 years of relevant experience.
EDUCATION
University degree or equivalent experience that could replace a portion of the educational requirement.

Your profile
A Bachelor’s Degree in mining, engineering or related field, equivalent relative experience may be considered. Must possess at least 5 years of proven sales progression and preferably deeper understanding of Drill & Blast process.
Location would preferably be in South East USA.
