Maintenance Field Manager

What You’ll Do :
- Cultivate a safe and productive environment through example, training, and tracking
- Oversee hands-on training and support of crew employees, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards
- Know and carry out client needs and expectations by regular communication with the Account Manager and Production Manager
- Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client and Franz Witte’s standards
- Work with the Account Manager and Production Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew employees, and prepare daily crew schedules
- Implement and enforce Franz Witte’s policies and procedures related to safety, the proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for department equipment
- Monitor and achieve desired company production rates and task hours for each job
- Daily monitor and approve crew timesheets to ensure accuracy and targeted budget progress
- Inspect properties weekly and prepare and implement action plans for needed service items
- Manage all landscape services including people, equipment, material, and subcontractors
- Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify property safety and plant health problems
- Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or necessary repairs, adjust or repair as needed and / or communicate recommendations to the appropriate party
- As necessary, perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands
- Manage and assist in snow removal services in the winter as needed.
Skills We’re Seeking :
- 3+ years’ experience in landscape maintenance
- Good communication in both English and Spanish
- Valid Driver’s License
- Dependable and Enthusiastic
- Desire to Learn and Work Safely as a Team
- Be able to take and give Instruction and Training
- Time and Priority management
