OCP seeks two (2) Training Specialists with a solid understanding of the development of professional self-service training videos.

Complete Description : Introduction The mission of the Office of Contracting and Procurement (OCP) is to procure quality goods and services through a streamlined procurement process that is transparent and responsive to the needs of government agencies and the public, and ensures all purchases are conducted fairly and impartially.

OCP manages the purchase of over $7 billion in goods, services, and construction annually on behalf of more than 78 District government agencies.

The District government is replacing the existing on-premises procurement management system with a new state-of-the-art cloud solution.

The new cloud-based Procurement Automated Support System (PASS Cloud) is designed to support the purchases from more than 69, 000 suppliers on behalf of about 4, 000 government users.

OCP seeks a Training Specialist with a solid understanding of the development of professional self-service training videos.

Requirements · Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the development of training materials by taking basic videos of scripted online meetings and inserting lead-in title slides as well as other information slides such as closing slides.

  • Skillset shall be based on video editing training and experience. · Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Be flexible and adaptable, while staying organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics. · Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with others.

Experience with large-scale organizational video editing is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities The Training Specialist shall : · Apply a structured methodology for video editing, assembly, and organizing activities.

  • Use a defined process and tools to create a video for each designated Training Point. · Support communication efforts by enabling the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications to project stakeholders.
  • Assess the quality of video construction by conducting analysis, assessing readiness, and identifying key stakeholders.
  • Support training efforts by providing feedback, constructive input, documented requirements, during the design and delivery of training video modules.
  • Create actionable deliverables for the PASS Cloud Training Workstream. · Coordinate efforts with the Training Project Manager and the PASS Cloud PMO.
  • Track and report issues encountered. · Conduct and attend meetings, workshops, and status briefings. · May participate in, or manage the creation of, PASS Cloud training or change communication related videos.

Minimum Education / Certification Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred, plus 3 years related experience. CON TRACT JOB DESCRIPTIONResponsibilities : 1.

Assesses, designs, and conceptualizes training scenarios, approaches, objectives, plans, tools, aids, curriculum, and other state-of-the-art technologies related to training and behavioral studies.

2. Identifies the best approach training requirements to include, but not limited to, hardware, software, simulations, course assessment and refreshment, assessment centers, oral examinations, interviews, computer assisted and adaptive testing, behavior-based assessment and performance, and team and unit assessment and measurement.

3. Develops and revises training courses. 4. Prepares training catalogs and course materials. 5. Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars.
