JOB SUMMARY :
TheDepartment of Nursing invites applications for full-time, tenure-track Nursingfaculty position beginning July 2025. The program has Baccalaureate, MSN, and DNP programs.
Theposition includes teaching responsibilities in the classroom and clinicalsetting as well as commitment to maintain practice, service, and scholarshipresponsibilities.
The programs within the department are fully accredited andtaught in a beautiful facility with state-of-the-art simulationcapabilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Teaching experience and clinical experience.
- Registered Nurse License in Michigan (or eligible).
- Doctorate in nursing or related field (enrollment in a doctoral program at the point of dissertation will be considered) with evidence of scholarly activity.
If a Doctorate is in a related field, a Masters in nursing is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience with online teaching and learning, concept-based curriculum, simulation, experience, clinical experience in one or more of the areas (long-term, acute care adult health, community health, critical care), works well in a team environment, and experience in RN to BSN education.
