About the Role
Client Engagement Bankers build meaningful, long-term relationships by leveraging excellent interpersonal skills. This includes offering sound financial advice, and often collaborating with internal Bank partners.
Personal bankers are expected to be active in the community and engage customers where and how they prefer to bank by providing education on digital and traditional solutions to achieve their banking needs.
- Deliver exceptional experiences to build, expand, and retain long-term client relationships with individual and small business clients by assessing their needs and offering them the best products and digital services to meet their financial goals.
- Collaborate with partners across the Bank in various lines of business as well as within the branch team · Able to independently support and resolve client issues with digital products and services directly.
- Support the community, which may include events during and after business hours, weekends, volunteerism, and other forms of community sponsorship.
- Assess the financial circumstances of current and prospective clients and provide tailored solutions for their needs, which can include a full range of retail products and loans, as well as collaborating across the Bank to meet client needs.
- Provide timely and accurate financial advice drawing on previous lending experience to originate and manage credit requests for business and consumer clients, including proactive management of a dedicated loan portfolio.
- Assist in troubleshooting remote services that include digital banking, Bill Pay, and ATMs
- Convert in-person and phone conversations to leads.
- Conduct transactions efficiently while interacting with the client to build a deeper, long-lasting relationship.
- Process and oversee technical tasks such as opening complex business accounts with some supervision.
- Skillfully handle customer complaints and concerns with the outcome goal of enhanced customer relations
- Support ongoing sales and service training of team members to generate superior results and exceptional client experience.
- Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations that apply to your position and keep up to date on regulation changes.
- Maintain working knowledge of our policies and procedures regarding the Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other regulations that apply to your position.
- May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
About You :
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or other comparable software applications
- Beginning to research, learn, and question in order to offer ideal products and services.
- Building technological skills in various delivery channels, including online banking platforms, Bill Pay, E-Statements, mobile banking, ATM, and business banking applications.
- A deep desire to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
- Continuously working to improve communications skills, including presentation skills
- Attention to detail, follow-up, and follow-through.
- Ability to collaborate with peers across the Bank.
- Building technical aptitude in Windows OS, Apple, and Samsung handheld devices, including the ability to troubleshoot systems.
- High capacity for empathy and emotional intelligence
- Learning to manage deposit and loan portfolios including less complex consumer and business relationships.
- Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) within 60 days .

The pay range for this role is $18.75 to $23.50, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
