Marine Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Engineer to join our team. The Marine Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various marine vessels and structures.

This role requires a deep understanding of marine engineering principles, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Marine Engineer Responsibilities

  • Create and develop designs for marine vessels and offshore structures, including propulsion systems, auxiliary machinery, and electrical systems.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, technical reports, and other documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of marine engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
  • Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and classification society requirements (e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG).
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations of marine systems and components to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine engineering and apply innovative solutions to improve system efficiency, safety, and performance.

Marine Engineer Position Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a related Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 5 years of related Engineering experience.
