Description
Under the general direction of the Director of Student Accounts, this position serves as a Manager for the Student Financials Module of the Peoplesoft campus solutions software.
The incumbent is responsible for managing complex processes for the Student Financial office. This includes managing the refund process, enrollment cancellation, and the review and analysis of various functions within the Student Financial module;
and management and administration of term roll setup, waiver setup, queries, analysis, testing, and implementation of application updates.
The Manager collects, analyzes, and provides data for institutional reporting and collaborates with various departments including Financial Aid before posting awards, running refunds, and enrollment cancellation processes.
These positions are critical to CSN because their mistakes will cause actual revenue loss, non-compliance with federal regulations, put accreditation at risk, and jeopardize CSN’s reputation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIT, business or accounting from an accredited college / university; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
4 years of professional-related experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
Data analysis and data management skills.
Ability to enhance processes through scripts and automated jobs as applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
4 years comparable professional.
Experience with queries over multiple large tables.
Demonstrate knowledge of programming / setup principles.
Experience with software such as Banner or Oracle.
Knowledge of NSHE Board of Regents policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate should possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities :
In-depth knowledge of the Student Financial Module within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
In-depth knowledge of the business processes within student accounts.
Ability to develop PeopleSoft queries to collect, analyze, and report data.
Knowledge of the College and Board of Regents regulations.
Knowledge of PeopleSoft Query-Based Update.
Flexibility to work longer hours outside of normal business.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong time management and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously and independently.
Salary information :
Administrative Faculty D - The starting salary is $83,120.
