Responsibilities :
- Lead design / prepare plans, estimates andspecifications for bridges
- Perform structural analysis / design with a focus on Illinois Highway and Tollway structures
- Review shop drawings
- Mentor / train junior staff
- Build / maintain clientrelationships
- Inspect bridges and highwaystructures
Requirements :
- Master’s degree in CivilEngineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
- 5+ years of structuraldesign of bridges experience per IDOT standards
- PE SE registration
- Experience in bridge inspection / qualification per FHWA
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design programs preferred
- Working knowledge of MicroStation
Salary iscommensurate with experience.
