Job Title : Supplier Quality Engineer
Job Description
- Initiate Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and follow up to ensure supplier responds on time and with a clear resolution.
- Support the collection of data to establish Supplier performance in a Supplier Scorecard.
- Generate performance reports for Suppliers.
- Perform First Article Inspections of new purchased parts.
- Attend meetings relating to Supplier performance.
- Perform presentations to company or customer management of departments as necessary.
- Assess the incoming inspection needs based on part and supplier performance.

- Quality Engineering
- Ability to read / interpret engineering drawings
- Experience interacting with customers or third-party vendors
Work Environment
Engineering department is 10 people total with a mix of disciplines (Manufacturing, Quality, Mechanical, and Electrical).
Mostly ME / EE design engineers.
