Responsibilities :
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and rootplaning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Take dental x-rays and Itero scan
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history in Eaglesoft
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and updating medical records
Qualifications :
- Valid dental hygienist license in Florida
- Proficiency in using dental office systems, we use Eaglesoft, but can train
- Knowledge of dental assisting procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with dental / medical documentation and patient assessment processes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Hours Mon-Thurs 10 : 00am-6 : 00pm and some Saturdays as needed 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm
