Clark Associates is looking for a Product Regulatory and Compliance Specialist to support the centralization of our product compliance and safety programs.
Qualified candidates will bring product safety / compliance and project management experience to the role. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical program for Clark.
This position is full-time and located in Lancaster, PA, but is hybrid-friendly for those within a 1-hour driving radius.
This role will also work closely with Clark’s procurement division, which procures both private label and branded products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform WebstaurantStore.
com, The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2023, we reached $3.
6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with requirements per DOE, EPA (TSCA, Energy Star), FDA (food contact), NSF, US codes and standards for commercial kitchen equipment
- Prepare product compliance registrations and submissions. Guide teams to provide content for regulatory submissions.
- Ensures the efficient management of regulatory documentation and information to meet internal and external requirements
- Determine requirements (local, national) and options for regulatory submission, approval pathways, and compliance activities
- Maintain current product registration catalogs and assist to process registration changes when required.
- Complete compliance-related customer inquiries.
- Supports regulatory impact assessments for new and emerging compliance obligations
- Review and approve product labeling, promotional materials, and advertising materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Represent product safety and compliance on cross-functional teams including legal and procurement.
EDUCATION And / or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of regulatory compliance experience
- Strong project management experience
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Working experience with DOE, EPA (TSCA, Energy Star), FDA (food contact), NSF, US codes and standards
- Strong data management experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word), PDFs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective balancing and prioritizing of tasks in a timely and effective manner
- Strong work ethic
- A fun, cheerful, collaborative attitude
