Jayna Gyro in Roseville, CA is looking for one cashier / server for morning / afternoon shifts to join our 14 person strong team.

We are located on 1132 Galleria Blvd Ste 100. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and reliable.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Cashier Duties :
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service while taking orders and processing payments.
• Assist with customer inquiries and ensure a smooth checkout experience.
• Food Service :
• Bring customers their food when it is ready.
• Ensure food is delivered promptly and accurately to the correct table.
• Address any customer needs related to their meals, such as additional utensils, napkins, or sauces.
• Cleanliness and Maintenance :
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Clear away dishes, trash, and food waste after customers leave to prepare tables for the next guests.
• Keep workstations, counters, and the service area clean and organized.
• Stock and Supply Management :
• Refill stock items (utensils, napkins, condiments, etc.) as needed throughout the day.
• Ensure that storage areas are kept organized and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Opening and Closing Duties :
• Perform morning opening cleaning tasks to prepare the restaurant for the day, such as sweeping, mopping, and setting up the dining area.
• Carry out closing cleaning tasks, including deep cleaning floors, sanitizing surfaces, and resetting the space for the next day’s operation.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for cash handling.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• This role is essential to ensuring the overall customer experience is positive, providing friendly service and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00 - $20.00 / hour.
