Job Summary

As a Senior Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide valuable insights to support financial planning and decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting : Prepare and review financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• General Ledger : Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Month-end and Year-end Close : Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of adjusting entries.
• Financial Analysis : Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Collaborate with the finance team to assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Audit Support : Assist in the coordination of external audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
• Tax Reporting : Assist in tax preparation and compliance activities, working closely with tax professionals.
• Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient accounting procedures.
• Financial Documentation : Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including supporting documentation.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with departments such as procurement, sales, and operations to provide financial guidance and support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree is a plus).
• Proven experience as a staff accountant with at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
