AE Role Skill Qualifications

Demonstrated success at building and executing a strategy to target, prospect, and develop large corporate accounts in a SaaS / TaaS company.

An SDR assisting you to build your pipeline should be considered a luxury and you will still be expected to generate 50% of your own net-new business accounts to supplement SDR efforts.

  • Ability to conduct meaningful discovery around business processes & use-case within the D2D industry's common practice and being able to identify ways that D2D Experts' capabilities can enhance processes and result in driving value for your intended customer
  • Ability to articulate the D2DU and Technology value and provide powerful use-case stories to a C-Suite Executive to emphasize how we can be the Revenue Optimization Platform standard to improve sales, customer engagement, drive increased revenues and improve client expansion / retention for multi-location corporate groups and Organizations
  • Ability to overcome and satisfy all objections and road-blocks in order to close and execute a complex agreement with c-level corporate executive decision-makers
  • You must be a Team Player (uber-competitive and yet still humble and continually learning ) and have the ability to validate, advise, and help guide other team members collaboratively in solving sales motion obstacles that help deliver on the team's goals
  • 3+ years of documented success in achieving quota attainment goals for a D2D, SaaS & / or TaaS company with experience selling into a Mid-Market or Enterprise segment
  • Full-Cycle" Sales Success in delivering results from your own independent efforts in identifying, prospecting, self-setting demo meetings, pipeline management and consistently delivering closed-won revenue to exceed quota
  • Proven knowledge of the business operations of Door to Door Sales Industry Companies such as Solar, Pest Control, Home Security, Roofing, Soft Water & H20 Purification, Cleaning Products, etc

AE Responsibilities & Mental Skill Requirements

  • Reports to Director of D2D Revenue Optimization Sales
  • Identifying, engaging, meeting with, and conducting meaningful discussions, able to lead benefit-centric product demos(not a feature dump) with key stakeholders within an assigned list of targeted Mid-Market / Enterprise accounts by building relationships at the highest levels of corporate decision-making stakeholders
  • Willing to "Whiteboard Certify" that you can adapt, pivot, and stand in front of a live group for a non-technical demo and still engage C Suite in a "Revenue Optimization Discussion" on a Whiteboard that leads to Executive Sponsorship & Agreement Review with DM.
  • Develop and manage a consistently replenished pipeline of qualified opportunities and move 25% or more of this pipeline to Closed-Won Revenue on a consistent monthly time frame.

aka...Maintain a Sales Pipeline Value of $1,000,000 in qualified opportunities at all times consisting of at least 50 qualified Opportunities with an average ARR of $20K, or 100 qualified opportunities with a minimum ARR of $10K.

Inbound Leads will provide 25% of this quota, 25% from SDR, and 50% from the AE

  • Manage the LTV (Life-Time Value) of the customer accounts you win, by coordinating with all internal CX departments to ensure a quality ongoing customer experience that will result in both expansion, add-on revenue, and minimized churn (10% max)
  • Meet with a Sales Team weekly for skill Development and participate in skill-focused performance journaling to ensure regular skill improvement.
