About the Role : As a Water Safety Instructor with Hopkins Community Education, your primary responsibility will be ensuring the safety of all swimmers in the pool.
You’ll monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and respond quickly to any emergencies. You’ll also help maintain a clean and organized pool area and occasionally assist with setting up for swim classes or special events.

Key Responsibilities : Supervise swimmers to ensure a safe environment for all participants Enforce pool safety rules and respond swiftly to emergencies Provide basic first aid or CPR when necessary Maintain a clean and organized pool area Assist with setting up equipment for swim classes and community events Participate in routine in-service training and safety drills Qualifications : Current lifeguard certification (we offer certification courses!)
