As a swimming pool equipment manufacturer, we are looking for a Territory Sales Manager candidate. We prefer candidates with combined selling experience and a technical product or engineering background. The successful candidate will be naturally driven and have strong relationship building and presentation skills. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Traveling throughout an assigned territory to train and guide company pool builders, pool service companies, and distribution channelsMaintaining solid working relationships with customers by ensuring that their needs are met and resolving complaints in a timely mannerMeet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targetsAnalyzing sales and marketing data to determine the most effective sales and marketing techniquesDeveloping innovative sales strategies to increase sales within an assigned territoryAttending trade shows to promote company products and servicesEnsuring that brand awareness within an assigned territory meets company expectationsDisplay or demonstrate products, using samples to explain features, attributes, and advantages over competitionReview market analyses to determine customer requirements, volume potential and competitive pricingCoordinate between customer service, technical service, engineering, and other departments as appropriate to improve products and customer experiencesDevelop and maintain a comprehensive list and profile of key accounts and contacts (direct and non-direct) in a computerized database program such as HubSpotEDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
College degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field preferredPREFERRED SKILLS
5+ years of varied and progressive sales experience (3+ years in the pool industry). Contacts in the service trade are highly preferredExposure to and connections within Pool equipment distribution channelsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsSound negotiation and consultative sales skillsEffective communication skillsExceptional customer service skillsTravel up to 80%, including day trips and overnight trips.Consideration will be given to candidates in the Dallas / Ft. Worth area
