POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing Coordinator at Primrose School plays a vital role in supporting marketing functions and ensuring smooth daily operations by handling a variety of administrative tasks.

This position is responsible for assisting with marketing efforts, managing billing, supporting the hiring process, and maintaining organized records.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple responsibilities in an educational environment.

OBJECTIVES

  • Assist with marketing efforts to drive revenue, including (but not limited to) maintaining social media presence, updating the school’s website, handing out flyers, corporate outreach, and booths at local events
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, providing information and directing calls as needed
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records
  • Support the hiring process by scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates
  • Manage billing processes, including invoicing and payment tracking
  • Maintains records, documentation, and files, particularly more complex or sensitive files such as employee files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of how to operate standard business equipment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, early education, business administration or related field preferred
  • 1-2+ years of marketing experience, preferably in an educational or childcare setting

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time while working on a computer or handling administrative tasks
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the office or school as needed
  • Light lifting (up to 20 pounds) may be required for handling files, office supplies, or equipment
  • Ability to respond to staff, children, and visitors in a school environment
