The Accounting Supervisor position performs a range of accounting functions in support of accurate and timely financial reporting for ENOC.
Functions often include timely month end closing procedures, reconciling accounts, and preparation of financial and management reporting.
This position also provides support and guidance to other team members in carrying out their job duties.
Essential Job Duties
- Perform monthly close function
- Post journal entries; revenue / expense accruals
- Perform account reconciliations
- Audit and post subsidiary journal
- Complete margin and purchase transportation analysis
- Provide accurate and timely financial and management reports
- Create new agent general ledger and billing codes
- Prepare revenue budget and coordinate remaining budget
- 1099 tax reporting and compliance
- Assist with financial and bank audit compliance
- Ensure compliance with all company policy and procedures
- Document and monitor internal controls
- Provide support and guidance to other team members in the accounting and finance department
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an accounting / bookkeeping function
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field or equivalent level of prior experience
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles GAAP
- Demonstrated knowledge of auditing processes / practices
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and exercise independent judgement in performing tasks with minimal oversight
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Salary Description $95,000 - $105,000 annually
