Job Description :
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, closing coordinators, and business clients to perform routine tasks and projects.
- Act as a liaison with Information Technology to resolve technical issues.
- Assist in preparing, updating, and maintaining corporate records, real estate forms, and other essential documents.
- Ensure proper recording and filing of original legal documents.
- Draft commercial mortgage loan documents and review leases and borrower’s organizational documents.
- Prepare and maintain corporate governance documents for real estate entities, both electronically and in paper format.
- Manage UCC filings, including drafting and filing statements, terminations, and continuations.
- Issue monthly reports on expiring UCC filings.
- Draft and file mortgage / deed of trust releases upon completion of real estate loan payments.
- Correspond with business clients to resolve workflow inconsistencies and take corrective actions as needed.
- Work with internal and external counsel to prepare Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment Agreements.
- Assist in the due diligence process for real estate closings.
- Research and analyze legal issues using various legal sources.
- Provide documents for Know Your Customer requests.
- Serve as a Notary Public.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent work experience.
- Approximately 8+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Advanced paralegal knowledge, including processes, client needs, key business issues, and best practices.
- Ability to support legal and business needs, analyze complex legal issues, and develop effective solutions.

- Strong review and proofreading skills.
