Job Purpose :
Responsible for supporting branch manager in the operations of the general office, parts, service, revamp / fabrication departments including, but not limited to, the productivity, assets and personnel with the objective of producing optimum efficiency and profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assists Branch Manager in the development of gross profit and departmental expenses and monitors performance on a weekly basis.
- Ensures that established systems for monitoring individual departmental productivity and personnel utilization are implemented and maintained
- Oversees and coordinates total branch operations by working closely with the Branch Manager and Operations Manager to assure the company personnel practices and policies are followed.
Monitors all phases of branch operations by periodic checks o WPI and vendor invoices, petty cash, timecards, no-charge billngs, price sheet dates, inventory controls, housekeeping and any other management reporting needed to measure the effectiveness of hte branch operations.
- Analyzes monthly receivable accounts organizes and directs an effective collections system.
- Establishes regular meeting dates whereby the Service and / or Parts Manager(s) participates in a consturctive analysis of hte monthly statement of earnings.
- Work closely with the Branch Manager and the corporate office on matter relating to sales, problems involving credit, accounting, service and / or parts.
Qualifications :
- Must have 5 year(s) previous management experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency, Bachelor’s Degree in applied discipline preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
- Must have ability to supervise, lead and motivate others
- Must be able to effectively evaluate others
- Ability to proactively gain new business, and maintain business relationships
- Must be proficient in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong motivational skills and ability to develop and train employees
- Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance
