Established 64 years ago, this company specializes in disaster restoration, as well as home / business remodels. What You’ll Do : This is a dual role which will require assistance in both accounting and human resources.
Tasks will include onboarding of new employees, maintenance of employee records, and assistance in AR and AP duties as needed.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES : Providing and processing hiring documentation and forms Maintaining employee timecards Assistance with processing payroll Maintaining and coordinating employee leaves / time-off Assistance with AR duties entering payments processing customer invoices collections Assistance with AP duties entering vendor invoices obtaining vendor invoice approval issuing checks What’s In It for You : Working in a small office environment with a fun group of people! What You Need to Have : The Musts : Associate degree or Two years of related work experience in accounting and / or HR Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) intermediate Typing 40 WPM 10-Key Familiarity with basic accounting principles such as debits and credits Customer service and problem-solving skills Filing and data-entry proficiency Verbal and written communication skills Listening skills Multi-tasking and time management skills Detailed orientated.
Preferred : Familiarity with Sage software or similar experience Construction background / knowledge Collections
