Join Rayco Exteriors as a Pre-construction and Estimating Manager!Job Title : Pre-Construction and Estimating Manager - MultiFamily / Reconstruction Company Name : Rayco Exteriors Salary : $100,000 - $120,000+ per year depending on experience Full Job DescriptionRayco Exteriors is looking for a seasoned Pre-construction and Estimating Manager to review estimating team proposals for accuracy and value engineering in projects ranging from $300,000 to $10,000,000 within the condo, townhome, multifamily, and luxury hotel spaces.

The ideal candidate will prepare detailed execution plans and work with our production team to ensure smooth project delivery.

• Collaborate creatively and strategically with the estimating and sales teams to ensure project success.-Diligently review estimates for formatting, accuracy, inclusions, and exclusions.
• Address inquiries from construction managers and experts and be proactive in finding solutions when necessary.-Present findings to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
• Manage subcontractor scopes, site walks, and contracts.-Review prime agreements and all related exhibits.-Create and maintain schedules of values.
• Oversee pre-construction processes and prepare jobs for handoff to project managers.-Develop scopes of work post-defect cases, if necessary.
• Plan and execute project approaches and strategies.-Review budgets and execution plans to ensure efficiency.-Create and manage Requests for Information (RFIs).

The ideal candidate should possess : -Extensive experience in pre-construction and estimating in the condo, townhome, multifamily, and luxury hotel sectors.

• Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing numbers, contracts, and project scopes.-Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to find answers when needed.
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors and preparing contracts.-Exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively liaise with clients and the internal team.
• Ability to travel regularly between San Diego County and the Orange County / Los Angeles area.-A strategic thinker with experience in value engineering.
