Salary : $25-$30 per hour
SUMMARY
The Site Leader will oversee daily operations and provide leadership to the team members to ensure the car wash is running smoothly, efficiently, and safely.
Create an environment of accountability and excellent guest service and assist with maintaining the facility and mechanics of the car wash.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our guests’ expectations.
- Actively promote and sell car washes and unlimited club memberships.
- Lead the recruitment and interview process for Shift Leader, Team Member, and Wash Technician positions.
- Establish a trusting relationship with team members, and recruit, train, manage, develop and engage staff.
- Create a location-specific work schedule for team members using a web-based scheduling tool to ensure proper coverage and business needs are met.
- Monitor operational expenses, research and gain alignment on ways to reduce cost while maintaining product quality.
- Develop processes that track and optimize productivity and standards.
- Contribute to the identification and execution of location and company-wide initiatives that promote long-term operational excellence.
- Engage social media, site displays and community initiatives to build relationships with local community while maintaining marketing standards of excellence.
- Ensure the building, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained.
- Maintain regular contact with owners.
- Conform to and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- 5 years of leadership experience managing staff groups in a retail or customer service environment preferred

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to :
- Remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Move about in the car wash tunnel and on the property grounds.
- Operate computer, machinery, tools, vehicles and industrial equipment.
- Use hands to move, set up, adjust, assemble, control, test, operate, or feel objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
- Constantly and effectively communicate and exchange information with guests, team members, leadership, and vendors.
- Read / comprehend, write, communicate orally, demonstrate reasoning and analytical abilities, and demonstrate mental flexibility.
- Occasionally move objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Constantly climb, bend, squat, kneel, crouch, and reach above shoulder when working with equipment, material loading and unloading, and other related tasks.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to compare and distinguish accounting and administrative data.
- Hearing ability to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking level with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and to make discriminations in sound.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working in :
- A typical interior / office work environment with noise levels that are usually moderate.
- A typical outdoor work environment which could include exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, dry, or windy conditions caused by weather and exposure to sound and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
- An operational car wash which could include close proximity to moving mechanical parts, and exposure to hazardous materials, extreme heat, and exposure to sound and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
- Position may involve extended work hours.
TRAVEL
This position requires travel 5% of the time. Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
