Forklift Mechanic Columbus, IN
Job Type : Full-time
Pay : $37.47 per hour - ( Depending on Experience)
Formal Diesel Training / 3 years of Work Experience Diesel Forklift Repair
Expected Hours : 40 hours per week

Job Responsibilities :
- Repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
- Troubleshoot defective machinery and install new or repaired parts.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial forklift repair and maintenance.
- Experience with diesel forklifts preferred; hydraulic system knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in interpreting safety rules, operating / maintenance manuals, and technical instructions.
- Ability to understand and execute instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Strong computer skills for service and work order software use.
- Must provide own tools on-site.
- Self-motivated and capable of prioritizing daily tasks in a manufacturing environment.
