Testing Coordinator

Reports to the E&T Director and is an hourly position. Administers adult basic education test (TABE) to students to determine their initial, interim, and final reading and math performance achievement levels and learning gains.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Demonstrates and abides by Odle Values and operating principles.
• Administers, scores and records TABE test results.
• Determines the results of TABE test as satisfactory or unsatisfactory based on Center and DOL procedures and criteria.
• Compiles and distributes a list of each student’s test results to appropriate department heads.
• Maintains all required records and test results on students.
• Submits weekly activity reports to the E&T Director.
• Projects supplies and / or equipment needs and submits requisitions to the E&T Director.
• Attends required staff training sessions.
• Clearly communicates and consistently models appropriate CSS and employability skills including personal responsibility and computer fluency.
• Maintains accountability of staff, students, and property, adheres to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
• Cultivates and maintains a climate on center that is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of work-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record preferred.

Additional Requirements : Knowledge of test administration and evaluation with some instructional techniques. Ability to communicate effectively and relate to the trainee population.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Position requires an ability to operate office equipment. In addition, an individual must be able to interact with team members and maintain an effective working relationship with all facility staff and departments.
