Senior Program Manager – R&D Operations

Job Summary :

The Senior Program Manager - Special Projects in the R&D Operations Team will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic projects within the R&D organization.

This role requires a seasoned program manager with a proven track record in managing complex projects, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and solid negotiation skills to deliver on joint objectives and key results.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Leadership : Oversee the end-to-end management of special projects, from initial concept through to final delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Strategic Planning : Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Coordinate and collaborate with various departments, including engineering, infrastructure, marketing, finance, and product management, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Resource Management : Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules, ensuring optimal use of personnel and materials to meet project goals.
• Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
• Risk Management : Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
• Performance Tracking : Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress and performance, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field..
• Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in program / project management, with a focus on R&D and operations. Experience managing special projects is highly desirable.
• Skills :
• Ability to understand the complex relationship between the organization and its environment, identify connections, adopt different perspectives, and respond to changing circumstances strategically.
• Ability to think innovatively, problem solve systematically, collaborate cross-functionally, and work through to a solution to ambiguous problems.

Excellent organization and prioritization skills with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.Proven ability to drive projects to successful completion on time and within budget.

Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex project challenges.

Utilize technical judgment to deliver hands-on project management and inter / intra team communications for complex programs.
