ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation :
- Assists students and teachers with computer-related activities including software use, hardware use and troubleshooting.
- Presents and facilitates lessons regarding technology.
- Maintains calendar for training and computer use.
- Assists in seeking in-district and out-of-district computer support.
- Designs and disseminates multi-media resources and materials.
- Orders, receives, audits and installs technology purchases of software and hardware.
- Maintains computer networks.
- Ensures the security of all equipment and inventories as requested.
- Assists in non-instructional activities including supervision of students as requested by immediate supervisor.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE :
Preferences include experience with educational equipment, effective communication skills, both verbal and written; flexibility, organization, decision-making and problem solving skills;
and interpersonal skills with diverse populations.
REQUIREMENTS :
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment physical examination
- Licensure based on State Department of Education Regulation No. 90-5
