RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversees branch administration, guides the formulation, implementation and coordination of branch operations policies, procedures and activities within the organization.
- Ensures branch policies are in regulatory compliance and conform to overall institution policies.
- Sets goals and monitors performance of assigned branches. Directs activities to attract new branch business. Develops and implements programs for business development and sales promotions.
- Provides training and guidance to the senior branch operation staff.
- May serve on committees or act as chairperson relative to operations, compliance, facilities, purchasing of equipment, and works with others in the review and implementation of proposals.
- Keeps informed of developments and ideas that would affect branch operations.
- Exercises control over all front operation areas and establishes goals and objectives. Direct reports are generally the Branch Administrator, Customer Service Managers / Operations Supervisors and exempt level employees.
- Plans, directs, supervises and evaluates workflow to meet bank strategic objectives, service, accuracy and processing deadlines.
- Works with centralized departments such as Central Operations, image processing, call center, IRA administration, compliance (Reg.
E, Reg. D and Currency Transaction Reports), to ensure that branches consistently meet objectives.
- In conjunction with direct reports, may call on important prospects.
- In conjunction with direct reports, represents the Bank in various civic and community functions to further enhance image and develop additional business to provide excellent customer service to current and future customers.
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum of 7-10 years of related experience or progressively increasing responsibilities in branch operations.
