Job Title : CNC Programmer

Essential Functions and Qualifications :

As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for selecting cutting tools, determining cutting feeds and speeds, and creating efficient tool paths for various projects.

You'll evaluate parts for manufacturability and suggest practical improvements to enhance machining processes. A strong understanding of part mounting methodologies is essential, as these decisions are made daily.

Key responsibilities include programming prismatic and complex topologies for short-run tool-room production. Experience with Unigraphics NX11 or newer CAD / CAM software is required.

You must be proficient in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical and horizontal milling machines, as well as 2-axis and 2-axis with C-axis and live tooling lathes.

Expertise in plastic injection mold making, high-speed machining, and the design / manufacturing of electrodes, fixtures, jigs, and mold frames is highly valuable.

Critical skills include teamwork, strong communication, organization, creativity, attention to detail, logical thinking, and a solid understanding of mathematics, spatial relations, manufacturing strategies, machinability data, and tooling selection.

Familiarity with the Microsoft Windows directory file structure is also necessary.

Work Experience :

We are seeking candidates with 5-15 years of experience as a CNC Programmer. Extensive experience with Unigraphics NX is highly preferred.
