Wealth Partners Capital Group ("WPCG") is a Palm Beach, Florida-based financial services holding company. WPCG was launched in June 2017 and currently has capital investments in six large wealth management firms.
WPCG’s mission, in partnership with these six firms, is to identify, value, negotiate with and acquire smaller firms and merge them into its partner firms.
Since its inception, WPCG has closed 120 transactions on behalf of its partner firms, which have added approximately $43 billion to their assets under management (
We are seeking to add a senior team member to WPCG’s M&A Integration team. The person in this role will (1) assist the integration and operations teams at WPCG partner firms with operational issues that impact the M&A process, (2) spearhead the operational due diligence related to WPCG investments in future potential partner firms, and (3) work with WPCG partner firms to bolster their operational platforms and processes to accommodate scaled M&A.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Working closely with WPCG partner firm integration and operations teams to smoothly integrate all aspects of the acquired business, including clients, employees, operations, technology, etc.
- Identifying operational weaknesses at existing and potential future partner firms, providing guidance on platform enhancements and assisting with implementation
- Spearheading operational due diligence on potential future partner firms and advising on existing partner firm’s sub-acquisition operational diligence
- Other projects as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications include :
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10+ years experience in independent wealth management operations, working at an RIA, RIA Aggregator or Custodian
Skills include :
- Strong familiarity with RIA operations, reporting, billing, technology and custodial platforms
- Solid project management experience
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and collaborate as part of a team, requiring minimal day-to-day oversight
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Compliance knowledge / background a plus
