Job Title : Chief Estimator
Location : Louisville, KY (Open to local and relocation candidates)
Salary : Approx. $130,000 (Flexible based on experience)
About the Opportunity : A leading construction firm specializing in high-end, high-quality commercial projects is seeking a seasoned Chief Estimator.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating projects valued between $80M-$100M.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee a team of two Estimators, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all estimates.
- Develop detailed cost estimates for high-end commercial construction projects.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Maintain and update estimating databases, systems, and processes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the estimating team, fostering a culture of excellence.
Qualifications :
- 5-10 years of experience in high-end commercial construction estimating.
- Proven track record of estimating projects in the $80M-$100M range.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must align with company culture; this is critical for success in this role.
