JOB TITLE : Senior Director - Strategy & Analytics
JOB DUTIES : Monitor the overall portfolio and identify potential risks and trends. Implement risk mitigation strategies to control and reduce credit losses.
Prepare regular reports on risk metrics, portfolio performance, and trends for senior management and other stakeholders.
Identify and assess potential risks arising from changes in the economic environment and industry-specific factors. Continuously enhance risk management practices, processes, and models to adapt to changing market conditions and best practices.
Conduct thorough risk assessments / analysis of potential borrowers and counterparties to evaluate their creditworthiness and profitability.
Develop and update policies and underwriting guidelines to align with the company’s risk appetite. Collaborate with senior management to establish risk thresholds and limits for various products and portfolios.
Play a key role in managing companywide enterprise risk assessment. Convey complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Use statistical and financial modeling tools.
Requires 20% domestic travel.
Supervises - Financial Risk Specialists
JOB REQUIREMENTS : Master’s degree in quantitative finance , Data Science, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field and seven (7) years of experience in financial risk management.
- Seven (7) years of experience to include : Consumer Risk Modeling; Financial Modeling; Loss Forecasting; Customer & Strategy Analytics;
- Data analysis; and Process improvement. Five (5) years of Experience to include : Python, SAS, or R; Using SQL to extract and manipulate complex data sets exceeding 5 million records;
and BI Tools : Tableau or PowerBI. Three (3) years of experience to include managing a team of risk analysts.
