A Day in the Life of a Proposal Coordinator

You independently manage the full proposal lifecycle and coordinate proposal assignments with technical staff and teaming partners.

You use your graphic design skills and creativity to produce appealing layouts in InDesign and ensure that proposals are compliant and meet Toole Design's standards.

You perform copy editing and proofreading to ensure products are error-free. You develop interview presentations and marketing collateral.

Qualifications of a Proposal Coordinator :

• A Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, English, journalism, or similar relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Over two years of h ands-on experience in proposal preparation / coordination, layout design, writing and copy editing, and working with a team
• Advanced proficiency in InDesign and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Basic experience with Illustrator and Photoshop
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Exceptional organizational skills
• A collaborative approach to generating strategies and developing creative solutions

Work Schedule for a Proposal Coordinator :

This full-time position typically works a flexible schedule of 40 hours a week. We also provide employees with the flexibility and necessary equipment to work from home 2-3 days per week.

T oole Design's Minneapolis office is conveniently located downtown at 212 3rd Avenue N, near to the Mississippi River and Cedar Lake bike trail systems and walking distance from Metro Blue, Green, Orange, and C line Stations.

The office is easily accessed on foot, by bicycle, and via transit.

Located in the North Loop neighborhood in the historic Colonial Warehouse building, the office is inside the former headquarters of the city's streetcar company.

Our windows overlook the Cedar Lake Trail which most of our staff use to bike to work each day, sometimes with a canine in tow (our building is dog-friendly).

You will also find Minneapolis staff conducting "walking meetings" to the nearby Mississippi River, taking transit nearly anywhere in the region, or hopping on bike share to attend meetings.
