Audit Senior
Position Overview
The Audit Senior will play a critical role in managing and executing audit engagements for our diverse portfolio of clients, with a focus on Non-Profit Organizations (NFP).
This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can lead audit teams and ensure high-quality deliverables while providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Review working papers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and providing insights on financial and operational improvements.
- Prepare and present audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and enhance audit methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting requirements, especially for Non-Profit Organizations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
